Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition in review: a €400 case that can save you money

After power supplies and graphics cards, the Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition now comes with a case with Noctua's stunning color scheme. As tests show, it is a very successful collaboration, as the well-thought-out case matches the best fan equipment and cool cooling performance.Price: Very high*.

Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition

For some time now, Noctua is no longer limited to its products, but also ventures into new areas with the help of various partnerships.Graphics cards produced in cooperation with Asus have repeatedly become the most stable models in their class, as the latest test of the Asus GeForce RTX 5080 Noctua once again showed. The strength in collaboration with Seasonic is also convincing.

What was missing until now, however, was a case that emerged with proven coolness. This is exactly where the Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition, which was unveiled at Computex 2025 almost nine months ago, comes into play.

- Premium ventilator device

- Very good quality of work

- Very good cooling process

- Premium cable routing

- Extensive AiO options

- Plenty of space

- rotating resource positions

- Six year warranty

- Port USB-C up to 10 Gbps

- The GPU support arm is missing

- No rear connection cutouts

- Software requirements for displaying information

Differences from the main version

Noctua isn't completely redesigning the bike.As with other collaborations, Noctua uses an off-the-shelf product. As the name suggests, this is the Antec Flux Pro, which was introduced in August 2024.

Although the chassis is unchanged on the Noctua Edition, the adjustments aren't just visual.Although the manufacturer's well-known brown color scheme is used, the Noctua Edition is mainly distinguished by the included Noctua fans - which is also reflected in the price.

* Price and its justification

While the "classic" Antec Flux Pro retailed for around €210 and is currently available for prices starting at €180, the Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition costs around €400.

Above 200 euros or more than 100 percent is important, but Noctua knows how to make it smaller: compared to buying individual components (housing, fan and fan control), buyers should save around 44 euros, and the color change is essentially "free".

In fact, the price of the case, even taking into account the current market prices, is slightly lower than buying the components separately. This does not change the purchase price in an absolute sense, but changes relatively.

Always a positive: While the plain Flux Pro offers a two-year warranty, the Noctua version has a six-year warranty.

Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition is scheduled to be released today.Initially, the case will be sold through the Noctua store on Amazon*, and will later be sold through other retail partners.

The external features of the Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition case remain the same as the base model. With a generous mesh front, a glass side panel and an air intake at the bottom, the current standard structure can be seen with one exception. On the left side of the case is a small digital display that can show the temperature of the CPU and GPU.

Visual differences in contrast are immediately noticeable. The most important thing is the color. The lid and left bottom plate are the usual Noctua brown. It's a nice change from the usual black and white case, although the color may not be well received by everyone.Regardless, the color blends well with the walnut wood trim in the front area.Clever writing on the front, side and cover fits well with the overall image.

A recent study by 2024 found that in society, camps are divided when it comes to color:

The performance is at the highest level. No defects can be found. The plastic front can be seen as a small defect. It is also a shame that the I/O panel offers only one USB 3.1 port (3.1 Gen2 / 3.2 Gen2 Type C) in addition to the mandatory ports (combined duo and 2 × USB 3.0).In the price range of around 400 euros, although this is mainly accessed with built-in interfaces, USB-C with a transfer rate of 20 Gbps is de rigueur.

Internal structure and daily information

All foreign objects can be removed without tools. For better ventilation, there is no additional dust filter behind the front mesh. The only filter is on the floor. It can be pulled forward for cleaning. The front part, despite being made of plastic, is very well made. The color deviation from the rest of the house is not visible.

The left side of the case is divided into two parts. The upper area consists of a four millimeter thick glass element, which is painted black on the upper and lower edge areas.Below is a perforated grid, behind which is the power supply area.

Black hardware case. The rubberized cable plugs and cover for the power supply are in "Noctua brown" as accents. There are no special features available. On the contrary, because Flux Pro and Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition do not have cutouts for connectors on the main board at the back. There is also no handle for very long and heavy picture cards.Speaking of picture cards;Top loading is not possible from the factory. For this you need to buy an optional bracket.

Finally, there is information that is often found in µATX or ITX cases, because where the power supply is still available, the Antec Flux Pro (Noctua Edition) has a cover with a socket for the IEC plug when it is provided - but more on this later.

The very strong cover is removed with just one handle. For better installation of the unit and installation of a fan or radiator, the side panel with the fan bracket can be removed.

Behind the right side wall is a well-organized cable management that leaves nothing to be desired.Several cable guides, several connections and plenty of space enable quick laying of cables. There are even Velcro straps on the right side for the CPU power cables.

There is a built-in NA-FH1 fan control in the upper left corner. It is magnetically attached, so it can be placed in different positions.

A total of six hard drive bays are available, two of which are reserved for smaller 2.5" drives. The remaining bays can accommodate either a 3.5" or 2.5" hard drive. On the plus side, the larger bays are separated by rubber spacers. The bottom drive holder can also be moved, so there is no special movement or screw completely free for the connection or it can be mounted completely freely. It is awkwardly located under the bottom.

Turn on the power!

On the Antec Flux Pro (Noctua Edition), in addition to the traditional PSU mounting method, it can also be mounted by rotating the connectors to face the side. The purpose of this method is to make cable management easier, so there's no need for a dedicated PSU like the Corsair Shift.Conversely, the power connection also moves to the opposite side of the case.Power is then supplied to the PSU by extending the cold cable of the device.

A mounting panel for installation of a regular power supply is also included in the scope of delivery. The maximum length of the power supply when using the lower hard drive cage is 300 mm.When the cage is removed, the maximum length increases to 470 mm.When installed in a rotational manner, the power supply unit can measure a maximum of 180 mm.

An interesting setup

Installing the hardware is extremely easy. The large space and excellent cable management are a delight. Also, the fans are connected to the front, the cover and the electrical panel using brackets.

The fan holder can be placed at a variable height for parallel use of AiO cooling on the front, lid and front.Unfortunately, depending on the position, the cable entry is blocked.Other than that, there were no problems with the installation. The display also works perfectly. But it's a bit of a hassle that the casino needs more grief.

In total, the Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition can accommodate up to 12 fans and offers extremely extensive options for AiO cooling systems.Although the PSU bracket only supports 120mm fans, the 140mm models can also be installed in all other fan locations. If you remove the lower hard drive bracket, fans can also be mounted on the bottom.

The available space allows for the installation of suitable AiO radiators in all these fan spaces. In addition, it is possible to implement a push-pull structure on the front and power supply panel.

By positioning the front fan bracket as shown above, you can prevent the shroud and front cooling from getting in the way.On the front there is a 30mm gap for the fans in front of the bracket.Behind it is about 62 mm.There is also sufficient clearance in the hood (about 70mm).

The fans included in the Noctua edition are not factory-installed in this case, but are arranged in a row in the box.As a trick, a small fan (NF-A4x10 FLX) is also included as a key ring. Why the fans are not installed directly can be quickly clarified.Noctua includes both conventional screws and its own separation pins (NA-AV4 V2) so that the user can choose the mounting method himself.
